Manufacturers vary hugely in how often they recommend changing the gearbox fluid; at RPM Malvern we check the condition of the fluid during your car’s regular service and can advise you then on the best way to proceed at that time.

Having good-condition transmission fluid in your automatic gearbox is vital as its job is to prevent friction between the many metal parts of the gearbox and if the fluid is left so long that it becomes contaminated and viscous, it will be unable to lubricate the parts properly and can lead to wear and damage.

At RPM we flush out 100% of the old transmission fluid which also removes all the particles and deposits which cause its deterioration. We then check and clean the transmission pan, change the filter and fill it up with new transmission fluid. This service at our workshop in Malvern, will prolong the lifespan and maintain the performance of your automatic gearbox.
